Pecan Pie

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine:
    • white sugar
    • corn syrup
    • butter
    • water
    • cornstarch
  3. Boil, then remove from heat.
  4. In a large bowl, beat eggs until frothy
    • Gradually beat in cooked syrup
    • Stir in
      • Salt
      • Vanilla
      • Pecans
  5. Pour into pie shell
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes.
